129th Boston Marathon race recap: Thousands of athletes complete their journeys
It's Marathon Monday, and it has been an exciting day as athletes took part in the 129th running of the Boston Marathon.

WMUR's Sean McDonald has completed the Boston Marathon! He crossed the finish line in a time of 4:43:48. He finished shortly after WMUR news director Alisha McDevitt, who finished in a time of 4:38:38.

Defending men's champion Sisay Lemma has dropped out of the lead group and was seen stretching out his calf. Before the race, Lemma had noted that he was recovering from an injury.

American Susannah Scaroni won the women's wheelchair division of the 129th Boston Marathon on Monday in an unofficial time of 1:35:20.

Switzerland's Marcel Hug won his eight Boston Marathon in the men's wheelchair race. His unofficial time was 1:21:34.
