KEARNEY, Neb — The Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA) is inviting families to enjoy an afternoon of free activities and entertainment at its newly renovated and expanded facility. The event, MONA Makers Day, will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Attendees can participate in hands-on activities at various creation stations throughout the museum. Adding to the festivities, The String Beans, known as the friendliest family band in Nebraska, will perform at 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public, offering a perfect opportunity for families to explore art and enjoy live music.
