BEAUTY TRICK: Ksenija's look is made through makeup alone

A Kazakhstani woman made the decision to transform herself into a living doll after binge-watching an anime series.

Ksenija Valentinowa now has over 23,000 followers on Instagram who have witnessed her transformation.

The shy 24-year-old grew up in Kazakhstan but is now living in Germany. She describes herself as a "very shy” person who loves to play computer games.

The dental assistant said: "As a child I have always watched the anime series and for sixteen years I’ve had an interest in being a makeup artist and with time, I became better, so it turned into my hobby.

"A few months ago, I opened an Instagram account and people liked my pictures, so I have continued posting.”

However, the look isn’t achieved through plastic surgery but rather though makeup.

TALENTED: Ksenija's hobby is makeup

Ksenija said her idol is Valeria Lukyanova – a Ukranian model also known as the “human barbie”.

She continued: “She was the first human doll I've seen and in my opinion, she has the perfect doll look.

"I love so many anime characters, but I can't ever decide which one I love the most. If I had to decide which character I mostly look like, I would have to say Kurunoma Sawako from Kimi ni todoke.

"My favourite anime characters are from my childhood Sailor Chibimoon (Sailor Moon), Nana Osaki (NANA), Akame (Akame ga Kill) and Boa Hancock (One Piece)."

Ksenija does the makeup as a hobby and doesn’t often go outside looking like a doll.

She explained: "I've never had any bad experiences; on the internet, people like my posts but in real life I don't always go out as a doll.”

When she does go out as a doll, it takes the brunette beauty nearly two hours to apply her makeup in the morning.
