RESS RELEASE – Soifua Manuia Mission Returns to Partner with Government of Samoa in Health Sector Initiatives.
Apia, June 28 – The U.S. Embassy welcomes the return of Soifua Manuia Mission to Samoa to bolster healthcare initiatives across the nation.
The ambitious partnership with the Government of Samoa, will run from July 1 – 11 to advance healthcare accessibility and community wellness throughout Samoa. Five hospitals across Samoa will collaborate with the mission, working closely with the Ministry of Health.
On July 1, Soifua Manuia Mission will launch a free outreach program on the island of Manono, providing residents with advanced healthcare services, including medical consultations, screenings, and preventive care. Soifua Manuia Mission is committed to Samoan communities and closing gaps in access to healthcare.
Additionally, emergency Medical Services (EMS) training sessions will be held with the Samoa Fire and Emergency Services Authority. This project will enhance emergency response capabilities across Samoa and equip professionals and volunteers to handle critical situations.
